Subscription and Add-ons

This screen shows what your licence holds - users, companies, branches, modules - and lets an Administrator buy for it online. A demo is bought as a whole plan and keeps its data; a paid subscription can have more added to it at any time.

1Purpose #

  • See what you have. The top card shows who the licence is for, the plan and its current period, the day sign-in runs to, and how many users and companies are in use against how many are allowed.
  • Choose what a demo has. On a demo licence the Modules in your demo card lists every module and feature a demo may try. Tick and untick them and press Save the demo's modules , as often as you like while the demo runs. Nothing is charged.
  • Buy a demo. On a demo licence you choose the plan - monthly or annual, companies, branches, users, modules - and pay. The same licence then stops being a demo. The company and everything entered in it are kept, and you keep signing in as you do now.
  • Add to a paid subscription. On a paid subscription you add companies, branches, users, modules and features. What you add is ready within a minute or two of paying.
  • Renew a paid subscription. From 14 days before your period ends, a Renew your subscription card shows the amount for one more term and a button to pay it. It stays until the renewal is paid.
  • Have renewals charged automatically. Where C-Land offers it, and your subscription is paid in rupees, the Automatic renewal card shows whether it is on, which payment method is saved and its limit, and lets you switch it on or off or set up a bank mandate.
  • A licence issued by C-Land directly (not bought online) has nothing to add to from here; the screen says to contact us.
  • When you ask C-Land to do it for you. Our staff cannot change your licence on their own say-so. They send a six-digit code to the e-mail address or mobile on your licence, together with a sentence saying what they are about to change. Give them the code only if that is what you asked for; afterwards you are mailed what was actually changed. Anything that costs money they mail to you as a link, which you pay yourself - they never take a payment. If you receive such a code without having asked, do not give it to anybody, and tell us.
  • The same from our website. Everything on this screen can also be done under My account on the InvoiceNET website, without opening the ERP. You sign in there with an e-mail address and a code mailed to it - no password. It matters most when the subscription has run out and nobody can sign in here any more.

2How to use, step by step #

  1. Open Admin > Subscription and Add-ons . Only an Administrator can.
  2. On a demo: choose Monthly or Annual, set the number of companies, additional branches and users with the plus and minus buttons, and tick the modules and features you want. A plan needs at least one company and one user.
  3. On a paid subscription: the numbers start at zero - set how many MORE companies, branches or users you want, and tick any module or feature you do not have yet. What you already have is not listed.
  4. On a demo, fill in Billing details: the name for the invoice, the country, the address and city; for India also the state, the PIN code and, if you have them, the GSTIN and PAN.
  5. The last card shows the price worked out by the server: each line with its arithmetic, the tax, and the total. It updates a moment after every change.
  6. Press Pay . The payment gateway's own window opens; pay there.
  7. The screen then follows the order: Payment received , then Done . You can carry on working meanwhile.
  8. A new module appears in the menu when you next open a company. The tax invoice arrives by e-mail at the address on your licence.
  9. To renew: when the Renew your subscription card is shown, check the lines and the new period, press Renew - pay , and pay in the gateway's window. The screen follows the order to Done and the top card then shows the new period.
  10. To renew automatically from now on: on the Renew your subscription card tick Renew automatically before pressing Renew - pay, and choose Card or UPI Autopay if both are offered. You pay this renewal as usual; the method you pay with is saved by the payment gateway for the renewals after it.
  11. To use your bank account instead: on the Automatic renewal card, under Set up a bank mandate , tick the box to agree and press Set up a bank mandate . Register it in the window that opens (net banking or debit card). No money moves; your bank confirms it in a few working days and the card then shows On .
  12. To stop automatic renewal: press Switch automatic renewal off... on the Automatic renewal card and confirm. The saved method is withdrawn at once and is not charged again.

3Fields #

  • Pay (Monthly / Annual) - a demo only. Annual is charged as eleven months for twelve months of service. An addition has no choice here: it joins your subscription's own term.
  • Company - one per company database. Every financial year of a business is its own database and counts as one, so plan for one more each year. Includes one branch; the modules are chosen separately.
  • Additional branch - branches beyond the one every company includes.
  • User - one per person who signs in.
  • Modules and features - each is bought once for the whole licence. A feature can be bought only with, or after, its module.
  • Name on the invoice, Address, City, Country, State, PIN code - who the tax invoice is made out to. Country decides the currency (rupees for India, US dollars elsewhere) and the tax; for India the state decides how GST is split.
  • GSTIN, PAN - optional, India only. A GSTIN is checked for its form; with one the invoice shows it for input credit.
  • Billed to - on a paid subscription, the billing details already on your licence. They cannot be changed here.

4Rules and integrity #

  • You buy for your own licence only. The licence is the one your sign-in belongs to; the screen cannot be pointed at another.
  • The price is the server's. It is worked out again when the order is placed, from the price list as it stands then.
  • An addition ends with your current period and is charged for the days left in it: bought halfway through, it costs half. From the next renewal it is part of your plan.
  • Buying a demo keeps your data. A module tried in the demo and not bought is switched off the day you pay. If you buy fewer users, companies or branches than the demo allowed, nothing already made is deleted, but the bought numbers apply from then on.
  • A plan cannot have fewer companies than the company databases in use.
  • A renewal buys the plan as it stands - every company, branch, user, module and feature the subscription holds - for one more term at today's prices. Prices that changed during the period reach you only here.
  • Renewing early loses no days: the next period starts the day after the current one ends. The same holds when it is paid during the grace days after the end.
  • After the period ends the software keeps working for the grace days (seven by default) with the renewal still on this screen; nothing can be added until it is renewed. After the grace days nobody can sign in - the renewal is then paid from the link in the reminder mails or under My account on our website, the data is kept, and the new period starts on the day of payment.
  • Reminders are mailed to the address on your licence 14, 7, 3 and 1 days before the end and on the last day, then each day of grace.
  • Automatic renewal is optional and only in rupees. It is offered when C-Land has switched it on. A subscription paid in US dollars is renewed from the link in its reminder.
  • You agree to a limit, not an amount. The sentence beside the tick box says the most one renewal may take - by default one and a half times what you are paying, rounded up to the next hundred - so a few added users or a price change need no new permission. A renewal above the limit is never charged: you are mailed a link to pay it, and ticking the box while paying allows the new amount.
  • What is saved, and where. The card, UPI or bank details are held by the payment gateway. The ERP and C-Land keep only the gateway's reference, who agreed, when, and the sentence agreed to.
  • Nothing is charged until your bank has confirmed the method. Until then the card shows Waiting for the bank and a renewal that falls due is paid by you. A card or UPI is usually confirmed within minutes; a bank mandate takes a few working days.
  • When it is charged. The reminders 14 and 7 days before the end say the amount and the day. The first try is 3 days before the period ends. If it fails you are mailed at once with a link to pay, and it is tried again on the last day and on the 3rd and 6th days of grace - four tries in all, and none after sign-in has stopped.
  • You are never charged twice for one renewal. Before each try the payment gateway is asked whether a payment for that renewal has arrived or is on its way. Paying it yourself at any time ends the tries.
  • Agreeing again replaces the old permission. A newer method, once confirmed, becomes the one charged, and the older one is withdrawn. A bank mandate can be set up only while no method is saved - switch automatic renewal off first to replace one.
  • Switching off is always possible , also when C-Land has stopped offering automatic renewal. Switching on with nothing saved only records the wish: the tick box is then already ticked when you next pay a renewal.
  • Pressing Pay twice is one order. Closing the payment window leaves the order saved; press Pay now to continue it.
  • If the change cannot be made after you have paid, the payment is refunded automatically and the licence is left as it was.
  • Card and bank details are never typed into the ERP - only into the payment gateway's own window.
  • Who can use My account on the website. The e-mail address your licence is registered to (the one the invoices are mailed to), and the e-mail address of each Administrator of this licence that is not disabled - the address on the user in User Manager. It is checked afresh at every step: remove a user's Administrator role, disable them or change their e-mail address, and that address can no longer manage the licence there. Two Administrators who should both be let in need two different e-mail addresses on their users.
  • What is recorded. An order, a cancellation or a change made from the website is recorded against web: and the e-mail address that signed in, where one made here shows the login name.
  • The code and the sign-in on the website. A code is six digits, good for ten minutes, works once, and is ended by five wrong tries; three codes can be asked for one address in fifteen minutes. A sign-in lasts eight hours, or until the browser tab is closed or Sign out is pressed. C-Land can change these times, and can switch My account off.
  • Change your plan from the next renewal lowers what the next renewal buys - fewer users, companies or branches, a module or feature dropped - or changes between monthly and annual. Nothing changes now, and you can change your mind until the renewal is paid. The renewal is priced on the plan you set; your licence is lowered to match on the first day of the new period, even when you pay early.
  • A number cannot go below what is in use - sign-ins not disabled, and company databases (each financial year counts) - and never below one user and one company. If more is in use on the renewal day than you asked for, that item renews at what the plan holds, and the reminder says so; the renewal itself is never held up.
  • A dropped module stops opening on the first day of the new period. What was entered in it stays in your company but cannot be opened or changed until the module is bought again. A module is dropped together with its features.
  • A new financial year needs one more company. Each year is its own company database and each counts on your licence; earlier years stay so that they can be opened. From 45 days before a business's year ends, when you have no spare company, this screen and a line under the header offer one more, and a mail is sent 45, 15 and 1 days before. Nothing stops working if you do not add it.
  • A demo's own modules. A module that comes with every company is always on and cannot be unticked. A feature can be ticked only while its module is; unticking a module unticks its features. A module switched off stops opening, but what was entered in it stays in the company and is there again when it is switched back on. The menu follows when a company is next opened. A module C-Land switched on by hand that a demo cannot choose is not listed and is left as it is. When the demo is bought, the modules of the paid licence are chosen afresh.
  • A demo can have extra days once , asked for here in its last three days, if it has been signed in to on enough different days. Buying the licence keeps the demo's company and data.
  • Invoices lists every invoice and credit note of your licence, newest first, and downloads each as the PDF that was mailed. A document still "being prepared" has no PDF yet; it is mailed when ready.
  • Sent here from another screen. When User Manager, Create company or Branch Master is full, or a screen belongs to a module your licence does not have, that screen offers to add what is missing and opens this one with it already in your selection. Nothing is charged until you press Pay here.
  • A banner under the header tells every user when the subscription has seven days or fewer left (amber) and when its period has ended and the grace days are running (red). It goes when the renewal is paid.
  • Cancel a recent order appears only when C-Land offers it, and lists the orders paid within the days it allows. Cancelling refunds the whole order to the method you paid with and takes back what the order gave: an addition's users, companies, branches and modules leave the licence; a renewal's period is undone; cancelling a first purchase ends the subscription and sign-in stops that day. Your companies and data are kept. The card says exactly what will happen before you confirm, and a credit note follows by e-mail.
  • Orders are cancelled newest first. An order cannot be cancelled while a later one on the same subscription still stands; the card says which.
  • Past the last day shown, or for part of an order, contact C-Land: only the whole order can be cancelled from here.

5If something does not work #

"N bought report schedules / dashboard reports / custom reports are in use ..., so the plan cannot renew with fewer than N."
Why
Report schedules, dashboard reports and custom reports are licensed per item. The number kept at renewal cannot be lower than what is in use beyond the free ones (none free for schedules, one each for the others).
What to do
Switch off or delete the schedules, or hide the reports, no longer needed - then lower the number.
"Only an Administrator can open Subscription and Add-ons." / "Only an Administrator can buy for the licence. Ask your administrator."
Why
Buying spends the firm's money, so only an Administrator may.
What to do
Ask an Administrator of your firm to open the screen.
"Your sign-in is not linked to a licence, so nothing can be bought from here. Please contact us."
Why
A purchase is made for the licence your own sign-in belongs to, and yours does not name one. It is never guessed from the company in use.
What to do
Contact C-Land; the sign-in has to be linked to your licence first.
"No licence is recorded for your sign-in. Please contact us." / "Your sign-in was not found. Sign in again to continue." / "This sign-in has been disabled."
Why
The licence server has no licence for the serial on your sign-in, or the sign-in itself could not be read.
What to do
Sign out and in again; if it continues, contact C-Land.
"... cannot be tried in a demo. Reload the page and choose from the list."
Why
A module on the screen is no longer one a demo may have: C-Land changed what demos offer after the screen was opened.
What to do
Press Refresh and choose again from the list as it is now.
"... is a feature of .... Tick ... as well, or untick ...."
Why
A feature can be tried only together with its module.
What to do
Tick the module too, or untick the feature.
"This is not a demo any more. Modules are added to a paid licence under Add to your subscription, and taken out at its next renewal."
Why
The demo was bought while the screen was open, so its modules are no longer free to change.
What to do
Press Refresh. Add a module under Add to your subscription; drop one under Change your plan from the next renewal.
"The demo ended on .... Buy the licence to carry on; its modules are chosen there."
Why
The demo's days have run out, so there is nothing left to try modules in.
What to do
Buy the licence on this screen - the company and its data are kept - and choose the modules as part of the plan.
"Nothing was changed: the demo already has exactly these modules."
Why
What was ticked is what the demo already has.
What to do
Nothing to do.
On the website's My account: "Signing in here is not open yet. Please contact us."
Why
My account has been switched off by C-Land, or it is not installed on the licence server yet.
What to do
Use this screen in the ERP instead; if nobody can sign in to the ERP, pay the renewal from the link in the reminder mail or contact C-Land.
On the website's My account: no mail with a code arrives
Why
The page answers the same for every address, so that it cannot be used to find out who is a customer. A code is mailed only to the address the licence is registered to and to the e-mail address of an Administrator of the licence who is not disabled.
What to do
Look in spam. Then try the address your invoices are mailed to, or have an Administrator check the e-mail address on their own user in User Manager and sign in with that.
On the website's My account: "That code is not right, or it has run out. Ask for a new one."
Why
The code was mistyped, is older than its minutes (ten by default), has been used already, or has had five wrong tries.
What to do
Press Use another address or send a new code, ask again, and type the newest code.
On the website's My account: "Too many codes have been asked for this address. Use the last one sent, or try again in 15 minutes."
Why
Three codes can be asked for one address in fifteen minutes.
What to do
Use the last code mailed, or wait fifteen minutes.
On the website's My account: "The code could not be sent just now. Please try again in a little while, or contact us."
Why
The mail with the code could not be handed to the mail server.
What to do
Try again in a few minutes. If it continues, contact C-Land.
On the website's My account: "Your sign-in here has ended. Sign in again to continue."
Why
A sign-in on the website lasts eight hours by default, and ends when Sign out is pressed in that tab or C-Land switches My account off.
What to do
Sign in again with a new code. A selection that was not paid for has to be chosen again; an order already paid for is not affected.
On the website's My account: "This sign-in can no longer manage that licence." / "No licence can be managed with this sign-in any more."
Why
Since signing in, the address was taken off the licence, or its user stopped being an Administrator, was disabled, or was given another e-mail address.
What to do
Sign out and sign in with an address that is on the licence, or ask an Administrator to restore the user.
"Buying online is not available yet." / "Buying online is not open yet."
Why
The online shop is not installed on the licence server, or it has not been switched on.
What to do
Nothing is wrong with your licence. Contact C-Land to buy meanwhile.
"This licence was issued by C-Land directly, so additions to it are arranged with us. Please contact us."
Why
The licence was not bought online, so it has no subscription for an addition to join.
What to do
Contact C-Land for more users, companies, branches or modules.
"This licence has been blocked. Please contact us."
Why
Nothing is sold for a licence that is blocked.
What to do
Contact C-Land.
"Your subscription's period has ended. Renew it first; more can be added once it is renewed."
Why
An addition runs to the end of the current period, and that has passed.
What to do
Pay the renewal on the Renew your subscription card, then add to it.
"Your subscription runs to .... It can be renewed from ...."
Why
A renewal opens at the first-reminder day, 14 days before the period ends by default.
What to do
Renew from the day shown. Nothing is lost by waiting: the next period starts the day after the current one ends.
"Renewing online is not open yet. Please contact us to renew." / "This licence has no subscription to renew. Please contact us."
Why
The online shop is switched off, or the licence was not bought online.
What to do
Contact C-Land to renew.
"The subscription's plan is not on record, so its renewal cannot be priced." / "The subscription is in ..., and its renewal could not be priced in it." / "The billing state is not on record, so GST cannot be worked out." / "The licence has no e-mail address on record for the invoice."
Why
The renewal is priced from the subscription's own items and invoiced to the billing details on the licence, and something there is missing.
What to do
Contact C-Land to complete it; the renewal then prices by itself.
"This renewal has been replaced by a newer one."
Why
The plan or the price list changed after the renewal was priced, so it was priced again.
What to do
Press Refresh and pay the renewal now shown.
"We could not renew the subscription, so your payment has been refunded."
Why
The subscription could not be changed after every retry, so the payment was sent back automatically.
What to do
Nothing was charged in the end. Contact C-Land before trying again.
"The price list is not available just now. Please try again later." / "Prices for India cannot be quoted just now." / "Orders for India cannot be taken just now."
Why
The price list could not be read, or C-Land's own state for GST has not been set on the licence server.
What to do
Try again later; if it continues, contact C-Land.
"... : a renewal can be set lower, not higher. To have more than N, add them now ..."
Why
Change your plan from the next renewal only lowers a plan. More of anything is an addition, bought now.
What to do
Set the number at or below what the plan holds; add more under Add to your subscription.
"N sign-ins are in use, so the plan cannot renew with fewer than N users ..." / "N company databases are in use (each financial year counts), so the plan cannot renew with fewer than N companies." / "A plan keeps at least one user." / "A plan keeps at least one company."
Why
A renewal cannot be set below what is in use, nor below one user and one company.
What to do
Disable the sign-ins no longer needed (Users), then lower the number. A company database cannot be removed from here.
"How many users are in use could not be read just now, so that number cannot be lowered."
Why
The count of what is in use could not be read from the server.
What to do
Try again in a little while.
"... cannot be dropped while its features are kept: .... Drop them too." / "... is either kept or dropped; it has no number." / "... is not part of your plan."
Why
A module goes together with the features under it, and only what the plan holds can be changed.
What to do
Untick the features as well, or press Refresh if the list looks out of date.
"That term is not offered. Choose one of the terms shown." / "The period has ended. Renew first; the plan can be changed for the renewal after that." / "Changing the plan at renewal is not available yet."
Why
The term was withdrawn, the period is already over, or the feature is not installed on the licence server.
What to do
Choose a term from the list; renew first if the period has ended; otherwise contact C-Land.
"A change you asked for was not made" (in the renewal reminder) / "N sign-ins are in use, more than the M users you asked to renew with, so the renewal keeps ..."
Why
On the day the renewal was priced, more was in use than the lower number you set.
What to do
Reduce what is in use; the next reminder, or pressing Refresh here, prices the renewal again.
"More time can be asked for in the demo's last three days - from ...." / "This demo has already had its extra days; it can be extended once." / "More time is given to a demo that has been in use: this one has been signed in to on N days, and it takes M." / "The demo has ended." / "This demo was issued by C-Land directly." / "More time is not offered for a demo."
Why
A website demo can have its extra days once, in its last three days, when it has been signed in to on enough different days.
What to do
Buy the licence to carry on with the same data, or contact C-Land for more time.
"That document is not one of this licence's invoices or credit notes."
Why
Only this licence's own documents can be downloaded here.
What to do
Press Refresh and download from the list.
"Invoice ... is still being prepared." / "Credit note ... is still being prepared."
Why
The PDF is drawn a moment after the document is issued, or it is waiting for its GST e-invoice number.
What to do
It is mailed to you when it is ready. Press Refresh in a little while.
"The file could not be saved by the browser. Try again."
Why
The browser refused or interrupted the download.
What to do
Try again; check that downloads are allowed for this site.
"Orders cannot be cancelled from here. Please contact us."
Why
C-Land does not offer cancelling from this screen, or has stopped offering it since the screen was opened.
What to do
Contact C-Land to cancel or refund an order.
"That order cannot be cancelled from here: it is not one of this licence's orders paid in the last N days. Please contact us."
Why
Only this licence's own orders can be cancelled here, and only within the days C-Land allows after paying.
What to do
Press Refresh to see what can still be cancelled. Past the last day, contact C-Land.
"Say why you are cancelling, in a few words." / "Give the reason for the refund ..." / "The reason is 300 characters at most." / "Tick the box to confirm that you understand what cancelling does."
Why
The reason is printed on the credit note, and cancelling changes the licence, so both are asked for.
What to do
Type a few words, tick the box, and press Cancel the order again.
"Order ... was placed after it on the same subscription and still stands. Refund that one first."
Why
An earlier order cannot be undone while a later one depends on it.
What to do
Cancel the later order first if it is still within its days, or contact C-Land.
"Order ... added to a period that has since been renewed ... Refund the renewal instead." / "... renewed a period that is not the subscription's current one" / "Part of what order ... gave has already been taken out of the plan ..."
Why
What the order gave has since become part of something else, so it cannot be taken back as it was.
What to do
Contact C-Land.
"A refund of order ... has already been asked for and is still in progress." / "Order ... has already been refunded." / "Everything paid for order ... has already been refunded."
Why
The order is being refunded, or already was.
What to do
Nothing more is needed. The refund reaches a bank account in five to seven working days.
"Order ... has not been invoiced yet."
Why
The invoice is issued a minute or two after paying, and an order is cancelled against its invoice.
What to do
Press Refresh after a minute and cancel then.
"Automatic renewal is not available yet." / "Automatic renewal is offered only for a subscription paid in rupees. Yours is renewed from the link in its reminder." / "This licence has no subscription, so there is nothing to renew automatically."
Why
C-Land has not switched automatic renewal on, the subscription is paid in another currency, or the licence was not bought online.
What to do
Renew from the reminder's link or from the Renew your subscription card. Switching automatic renewal OFF always works.
"Automatic renewal could not be set up just now. This payment is an ordinary one ..." / "Automatic renewal is not available for this payment." / "Automatic renewal by UPI Autopay is not available for this amount; a card can be used for it." / "Automatic renewal is offered with a card or UPI Autopay only." / "Automatic renewal is agreed with a first purchase or a renewal, not with an addition."
Why
The box was ticked and the payment gateway could not save a method with this payment - it did not answer, the amount is above what UPI Autopay allows, or the payment is an addition. The payment itself went ahead as an ordinary one.
What to do
Nothing is lost. Tick Renew automatically again when you next pay a renewal, choose Card if UPI was refused, or set up a bank mandate on the Automatic renewal card.
"A bank mandate can be set up only for a subscription paid in rupees." / "The renewal could not be priced, so the mandate's limit cannot be worked out. Please contact us." / "The licence has no e-mail address on record. Please contact us." / "Online payment in INR is not available yet, so a bank mandate cannot be set up." / "The bank mandate could not be opened just now. Please try again in a moment."
Why
A bank mandate needs a rupee subscription whose renewal can be priced, an e-mail address on the licence, and the payment gateway to answer.
What to do
Try again in a moment. If it says to contact us, C-Land has to complete the licence's details first.
"A payment method is already saved for automatic renewal. Switch automatic renewal off first to replace it."
Why
One method is charged at a time, and a bank mandate does not replace a saved card or UPI by itself.
What to do
Press Switch automatic renewal off, confirm, switch it on again and set up the bank mandate.
"The bank's registration window could not be opened ..." / "The bank mandate was not completed. Nothing has been set up; you can try again." / "The bank did not register the mandate. Nothing has been set up; you can try again."
Why
The payment gateway's window did not load, was closed before the bank finished, or the bank refused the registration.
What to do
Check the connection and press Set up a bank mandate again. No money moves in a registration.
"The bank mandate's confirmation could not be checked. If you completed it, it appears here within the hour." / "The bank mandate could not be checked just now ..." / "That bank mandate was not found for this licence."
Why
The screen could not confirm with the payment gateway what the bank's window reported.
What to do
If you completed the registration, do nothing: the server asks the gateway itself within the hour. Press Refresh later; the Automatic renewal card then shows Waiting for the bank or On.
The Automatic renewal card shows "Waiting for the bank" / "Your bank has not yet confirmed the ... for automatic renewal, so this renewal is paid by you."
Why
The method is registered and the bank has not confirmed it yet. Nothing is charged to a method that is not confirmed.
What to do
Wait - a bank mandate takes a few working days. Pay a renewal that falls due in the meantime yourself. If the bank refuses the mandate you are mailed, and can set one up again.
"This renewal is more than the INR ... you allowed for automatic renewal, so it will not be charged by itself." / the mail "Your InvoiceNET® ERP renewal is above your automatic limit"
Why
The plan has grown, or prices changed, beyond the limit you agreed to. A renewal above the limit is never charged.
What to do
Pay this renewal yourself. Tick Renew automatically while paying to allow the new amount for the renewals after it.
The mail "Your InvoiceNET® ERP renewal could not be charged"
Why
A try to charge the saved method did not go through - not enough balance, the card's limit, an expired card, or the bank asked for an approval that was not given. Nothing was taken.
What to do
Pay from the link in the mail or from the Renew your subscription card, or wait for the next try on the day the mail names. After the fourth try no more are made for that renewal.
The mail "Automatic renewal of InvoiceNET® ERP could not be set up"
Why
The bank did not confirm the method that was registered. Nothing was charged and the subscription is not affected.
What to do
Tick Renew automatically when you pay the next renewal, or set up a bank mandate again.
"Choose what to buy." / "Nothing is selected."
Why
Nothing is ticked and every quantity is zero.
What to do
Set a quantity or tick a module, then press Pay.
"A plan needs at least one company." / "A plan needs at least one user."
Why
A demo is bought as a whole plan, which needs both.
What to do
Set Company and User to at least 1.
"N people have a sign-in on this licence, so the plan needs at least N users ..."
Why
A demo allows more users than a plan need have, but a plan cannot have fewer users than there are sign-ins: the people are there already.
What to do
Set Users to at least N - or first disable the sign-ins you do not need under Admin > Users, then buy.
"This licence has N company database(s) in use ... The plan cannot have fewer than N."
Why
Every company database, including each financial year's, counts as a company, and the plan chosen has fewer than are in use.
What to do
Raise the number of companies to at least the number in use.
"... is already part of the plan."
Why
A module or feature is bought once for the whole licence, and the licence has it already.
What to do
Untick it. Press Refresh if the list looks out of date.

What to do

What to do
Untick it, or contact C-Land.
"Enter the name the invoice is to be made out to." / "Enter the billing address." / "Enter the city." / "Choose the billing country."
Why
A demo has no billing details, and the tax invoice needs them.
What to do
Fill in Billing details.
"Choose the state: GST depends on it." / "Enter the six-digit PIN code."
Why
For India the state decides how GST is split, and the invoice carries the PIN code.
What to do
Choose the state and enter the PIN code.
"That GSTIN is not valid. Check it, or leave it empty to be billed without one." / "A GSTIN has 15 characters." / "A GSTIN applies to an Indian billing address only." / "That PAN is not valid. Check it, or leave it empty."
Why
The GSTIN or PAN does not have the right form.
What to do
Correct it, or clear the field: both are optional.
"Your billing state is not on record, so GST cannot be worked out." / "Your licence has no e-mail address on record for the invoice."
Why
An addition is invoiced to the billing details on your licence, and they are incomplete.
What to do
Contact C-Land to complete them, then buy.
"Your subscription is in ..., and this could not be priced in it."
Why
The billing country on record and the subscription's currency do not agree.
What to do
Contact C-Land.
"Online payment in ... is not available yet. Please contact us to complete your purchase."
Why
No payment gateway is set up for your currency.
What to do
Contact C-Land to pay another way.
"The payment window could not be opened." / "The payment page could not be opened just now. Your order ... is saved"
Why
The payment gateway could not be reached from this computer, or did not answer.
What to do
Check the connection and press Pay now. The order is saved and is not charged twice.
"The payment was not completed. Press Pay now to try again"
Why
The payment window was closed before paying.
What to do
Press Pay now. The same order is continued.
"The payment could not be confirmed. If you have paid, your order will complete by itself in a few minutes." / "That payment does not belong to this order."
Why
The screen could not confirm the payment with the gateway.
What to do
Wait a few minutes and press Refresh; the gateway also tells the server directly. If money left your account and nothing changed, contact C-Land with the order number.
"This order has already been paid for. Its number is ...." / "This order was not paid in time. You can start again."
Why
The order is finished, or it was left unpaid too long and closed.
What to do
Press Refresh and start a new purchase if one is still wanted.
"We could not add what you bought, so your payment has been refunded. Your licence is as it was." / "We could not complete the purchase, so your payment has been refunded. Your demo is as it was."
Why
The licence could not be changed after every retry, so the payment was sent back automatically.
What to do
Nothing was charged in the end. Contact C-Land before trying again.
A module just bought is not in the menu
Why
The menu is built when a company is opened.
What to do
Open the company again, or sign out and in.
"The server could not be reached. Check the connection and try again." / "That could not be done just now. Please try again in a little while." / "The request is incomplete. Please reload the page and try again."
Why
The ERP server did not answer, or the request did not arrive whole.
What to do
Check the connection, press Refresh and try again.
