1What this screen is for #
- Menu path: Warehouse Management > Outbound > Load. Route /warehouse/load . Made for a phone; the same with a USB scanner at a desk.
- Only a dispatch the desk has opened and not closed is offered. Its cartons are listed order by order: To load, Loaded, Missing.
- A scan loads the carton whose label it is - if the carton belongs to this dispatch. A carton of another vehicle, of an order not on this dispatch, still open on Pack, or cancelled is refused and the message says which.
- Missing keeps a carton off the vehicle with a reason; the dispatch then closes short, with approval, and the goods stay owed. Found or a scan puts it back. Take off unloads a carton.
- A storage space that ships loose has no cartons: press Loaded on each order as it goes on.
- Finish loading (F5) tells the desk the vehicle is loaded; the dispatcher closes.
2Toolbar & keyboard #
- Scan (F2) puts the cursor in the scan box. Finish loading (F5) . Esc closes a dialog; with none open, the page.
3Where nothing is scanned #
- In a storage space worked without scanning (Warehouse master, block Run by the WMS, Working method ) each carton still to load has a button On the vehicle . Press it as the carton goes on.
- The carton's number can also be typed in the box, whatever the company's setting for typed codes says.
- Take off and Missing work as they do with a scanner.
4If something does not work #
"You do not hold the right to open the dispatches ... WMS - Dispatch (View) or WMS - Tasks: Load (View)." / "You do not hold the right to load a dispatch ... WMS - Tasks: Load (Execute) or WMS - Dispatch (Alter)."
- Why
- Load opens with View on WMS - Tasks: Load (or on WMS - Dispatch); loading needs Execute on WMS - Tasks: Load (or Alter on WMS - Dispatch).
- What to do
- An administrator ticks the right for you in User Manager, Masters tab.
No dispatch is being loaded
- Why
- Only a dispatch the desk has opened and not yet closed is offered.
- What to do
- The dispatcher opens one on the Dispatch Desk, with the orders on it.
"Pick the storage space and the dispatch first." / "... is <status> - nothing is loaded on it."
- Why
- A scan goes on the dispatch picked, while it is Open, Loading or Loaded.
- What to do
- Pick the dispatch, then scan.
"'...' is not a carton's label." / "Carton ... belongs to dispatch ... - leave it ..." / "Carton ... is of an order that is not on ...." / "Carton ... is still open on Pack ..." / "Carton ... is cancelled ..." / "Carton ... is on the vehicle already ..." / "Typing a code is switched off ..."
- Why
- A carton goes on only the dispatch its order is on, once, after it is closed on Pack.
- What to do
- Leave the carton in the dispatch bin and tell the dispatcher; or put its order on this dispatch at the desk.
"Say why the carton is missing ..." / "The reason can't exceed 200 characters." / "Nothing is loaded yet - scan the cartons on first." / "<space> packs into cartons: an order is loaded by scanning its cartons, not as one."
- Why
- Missing needs a reason; Finish loading needs something on; a packing space loads by carton.
- What to do
- Give the reason; scan first.
"That carton is not on this dispatch. Press Refresh." / "That dispatch no longer exists. Press Refresh."
- Why
- The screen is older than the database.
- What to do
- Press Refresh.
