My Reports

Your own reports, beside the standard ones.

Reports written for your business appear in your own menu, run as a grid, a pivot or a graph, and can be printed, e-mailed and scheduled like any other.

My Reports holds the reports written for your business - registers, statements and lists beyond the standard ones. They appear in your own menu, filed in folders, and each is shown only to the users who should see it. You run one, enter its parameters, and read the result as a grid, a pivot or a graph. You can save the grid laid out the way you like to read it. Reports print, export, go by e-mail and can be scheduled like any other. Custom tables give you data entry for registers the ERP does not hold as standard.

Why use it

  • You keep a separate spreadsheet for a report the standard set does not haveHere your own report runs inside the ERP.
  • You rearrange the same columns each time you open a reportHere you save the layout and get it back.
  • You need a register for something the ERP does not holdHere a custom table gives it a data-entry form.
  • You do not want every user to see every custom reportHere each report needs its own View right.
  • You mail a custom report to your manager by handHere it can be e-mailed or scheduled like a standard one.

Key advantages

Custom reports read the company database directly, so the figures are as current as the books.

Rights are given per report, per user and per company, using the same rows the desktop reads.

Grid, pivot and graph read the same rows, so changing the view never runs the report again.

A saved layout keeps column order, widths, hidden columns, sorting and grouping for the next time.

Custom tables build their own data-entry form from the table's definition, with pick-lists where set.

Business benefits

Reports that fit you

Your own registers and statements run beside the standard reports.

Fewer spreadsheets

Data stays in the ERP instead of copies kept on desktops.

Controlled access

Each custom report is seen only by the users you allow.

Time back each week

Saved layouts and schedules remove repeated setting up.

Where it is used

Pharma

The business needs a register in its own format.

A custom report lists it in the menu, and only the users given the right can open it.

Manufacturing

The plant keeps a checklist that the ERP does not hold as standard.

A custom table gives it a data-entry form, and a custom report reads it back.

Any business

A manager wants a custom report every week without asking for it.

The report is scheduled and arrives by e-mail.
